Pagosa Springs, CO

We went to the Rookie Roundup at the Starlight Classic Campground followed by a trip to Pagosa Springs.

We made it over Wolf Creek Pass and back again without a hitch, so I think we can call the Great Dale a mechanical success!

New Great Dale Door in almost complete

Here is the new door for the Great Dale about 90% completed:

Drivers Area Restoration Complete

We started the restoration with the car interior with the following changes:

  1. New driver’s side door window and interior.
  2. New drivers side door handles
  3. Both window mechanisms rebuilt so they don’t rest on interior panel.
  4. Driver and passenger side panels rebuilt
  5. Custom Speaker boxes
  6. Re-skinned my console
  7. New carpet
  8. Rebuilt seats
  9. New 3-Point seat belts

Center Console Part Deux

We kind of wanted to keep the original console that Lina and I made, but decided it would be better if it matched the new interior.  The interior guys said they couldn’t make anything better, so we ripped all of the instruments our and they re-skinned it with the new interior theme.

Driver Door Under Construction

We’ve decide don getting the car interior part done first and, as everyone expected, the door is turning into a big headache.  Here are some pictures of the progress.
